St. Joseph's Motherhouse is home to Sisters in semi-retirement as well as a residence for 16 university and college students during the academic year. The Motherhouse is a vital centre, noted for its openness and hospitality to many church affiliations and other organizations.
The Motherhouse provides a rich, peaceful environment for individuals to "Come aside and rest awhile." (Mark 6:31) We offer unstructured sabbatical time with opportunities for:
Daily Mass
Monthly Taize prayer
