Our Works
- We are in schools, hospitals, nursing homes, women's crisis centres, phone help lines, social planning councils, prisons, parishes, homes, looking after women and children, the poor, the sick and the elderly, the disabled and disadvantaged, serving others, that is, the "dear neighbour",
in accordance with the gifts and abilities of our Sisters.
- Serving in hospitals in Sudbury and Thunder Bay.
- Helping people overcome their addictions in treatment programs in Thunder Bay.
- Providing nursing home and assisted living care at St. Joseph's Heritage in Thunder Bay and St. Joseph's Villa in Sudbury.
- Assisting with activities for the elderly as volunteers in nursing homes and homes for the aged.
- Working in collaboration with the clergy in parishes throughout Northern Ontario.
- Offering retreats and spiritual direction to men and women in North Bay, Sudbury, Sault Ste Marie and Thunder Bay.
- Teaching young people at the elementary and secondary levels in Sault Ste. Marie.
- Helping new Canadians and immigrants settle into new life in Northern Ontario.
- Providing emergency care, intervention and solution focussed counselling for victims of women's abuse and sexual assault in Sudbury.
- Educating the public and professionals for a better understanding of the issues surrounding women's abuse and sexual assault.
